What is it?

Dermaplaning is a treatment that consists of using a medical grade scalpel to graze across the skin. Removing the first layer of dead skin cells and peach fuzz. This treatment will allow your skincare products to penetrate better, as well as the benefits listed below. NO this will not cause hair to grow back thicker or darker. Since the blade cuts the hair at the surface it will create a blunt end, therefore the first day or two that it grows out, it may feel blunt. However it will begin to taper out and feel as it once did.

Suitable skin types:

Most skin types can receive this treatment. The few exceptions would be compromised skin due to over exfoliation, or impaired barrier. Most acne clients especially those with pustules or inflamed breakouts.

Aftercare information:

Minimal sun exposure, no working out, sweating etc for 24 hours. No actives or exfoliation for at least 3 days after the treatment.
